Mediation
Mediation is a supported conversation between you and another person around a specific issue. It's an opportunity for you each to express your views and be heard and to fully understand the issues you face before setting out to solve them.
Mediation can be helpful for couples, family members or friends who are struggling to make a joint decision, where communication has broken down, or when they are seeking to separate and need help to manage the process.
Mediators are impartial - meaning that I am neutral and do not take sides. Rather I facilitate the conversation so each of you has the chance to express your selves and feel heard. Mediation can assist you to gain clarity on an issue and assist you to generate, evaluate and negotiate your options.
The process of mediation involves an intake session for each client before a single joint session (or series of joint sessions) - as needed to reach resolution.
